Correctly handle the relationship between the strength, structural strength and system strength of the material. The strength indicators of various materials are measured by standard samples. These indicators depend on the micro-structures of the material (including surface state, residual stress and stress status).

The structural strength of the forgedness is affected by the size and gap effect, while the system strength is related to the interaction of other forgeds. The difference between them is very large, such as the fatigue strength of the smooth test rod, but the fatigue strength of the real thing may be very low. Therefore, for some important parts, it is more appropriate to determine mechanical performance indicators based on the results of the simulation test.
